Shawne Merriman Arrested for Choking and Restrianing Tila Tequila

Shawne Merriman, San Diego Chargers linebacker, was arrested early this morning for allegedly choking and restraining Tila Nguyen, also known as TV host Tila Tequila.
It was at 3:45am this morning in San Diego that police responded to a disturbance call at the 12000 block of Sage Crest Drive in Poway, by a woman, who identified herself as Tila Nguyen, who claimed to have been choked and restrained by Shawne Merriman.

Tila Tequila told police she attempted to leave the residence when Merriman attacked her. She signed a citizen's arrest at the scene charging Merriman with battery and false imprisonment.
Nguyen was transported to Pomerado Hospital and Merriman was taken into custody by Sheriff's deputies.

What makes a man think, large as they are that choking the crap out of a woman will get the desired results,when walking away can accomplish the same result.
