Shellie Zimmerman, the wife of Trayvon Martin suspect George Zimmerman, was arrested on one court of perjury on Tuesday, June 12, 2012.

It has been suggested that Shellie Zimmerman may have perjured herself with regarding finances.

Zimmerman was reportedly taken from her residence in Seminole County and sent to jail.

Bond was set at $1,000 and it's believed that Shellie Zimmerman is in the process of being released.

thedfyent1are you an idoit or something, she lied to the court's read the above document & there not harassing anyone. She & George both will be held accountable for thier actions. Hopefully they both will lose all thier freedoms as the young man lost his life due to the Coward George being a RACIST piece of Sh!t!

You're so stupid thedfyent1 that I guess you didn't have enough intelligence to read the affidavit. She perjured herself by lying to the court. By the way, defyent is not a word. Defiant is however. But it's not surprising that someone as ignorant as you are wouldn't know that.

Since the funds in question were clearly solicited for the purpose of Zimmerman's legal defense fund how is it she committed perjury in a statement declaring their personal finances? This money was not solicited for the purpose of him making bail, was not a personal asset of Zimmerman's, and if it were intended for him to give to the State of Florida, keep in a bank, or fly to Tahiti for a long vacation, he would certainly now be criticized for committing fraud against the donors.

It's pretty obvious he IS being railroaded by certain Florida State officials who gravely fear the resulting riots of angry mobs if they can't secure a wrongful conviction on Zimmerman, but all that is beside the real point here.

Those were not personal assets of the Zimmerman family to do as they wished with and the only thing they are guilty of is inexperience of the proper procedure here and rightful fear of angry vigilante mobs.

I would further note to "Erma" that such personal attacks do not reinforce any opinion on a matter of such national scope as this. Even if that person IS an idiot how does it change the facts?
