The Significance of the Tea Party
The Tea Party began in commemoration of the historic act that took place in Boston Harbor where in protest to the Royal Crown’s newest tax that had been imposed upon the 13 Colonies. The unpopular tea tax among many earlier taxes that were destroying prosperity among Americans as King George of Great Britain sought to impose his will upon the 13 Colonies while harvesting their productivity. The draconian influence of the British Monarch over the fledgling American colonies has been replaced today with big government agenda of the Obama White House.
In 2009 as Americans began to realize that not only was Capitol Hill violating the US Constitution with impunity, but was using record deficit spending to socially engineer this nation into a socialist society. As the Tea Party became increasingly popular and politically influential the more Democrats attacked them with their false allegations. Such ridiculous narratives accused conservatives and the Tea Party as wanting dirty air and water, not caring about women’s rights, and being racist-the very fruit of the Democratic Party’s distortion of the truth.
The premise of the Tea Party
What does the Tea Party advocate? What does it stand for? A survey on the demographics of Tea Party members showed that they had above average income and education and were more likely to be entrepreneurs than their Democrat and liberal counterparts. So Tea Party members are clearly more self-reliant. The Tea Party supports the US government operating under the original intentions of our forefathers utilizing Constitutional principles. Those principles are limited government, relying on the private sector as the economic engine of the US, and using responsible fiscal practices that do not lead to high deficits based upon the funding of federally funded radical causes and welfare state lawmaking.
US media attacks Tea Party
Of course the Democrats are going to attack the Tea Party as it is the very welfare state spending they use to buy votes as well as fund radical and often anti-American sentiment. Unfortunately, the low information voter will buy into the predominantly leftist US media’s spin on any and all issues where they parrot the White House than undertake actual journalism and research the facts as they are inherently in the tank for the Obama administration. Never in history has there been a time when the US media has become the literal equivalent of the Soviet Style state controlled news agencies known as Tass and Pravda during the “Cold War” era when propaganda was their only purpose.
The hated influence of the Tea Party
In the 2010 mid election primaries, the Democrats were stunned with the biggest defeat they had seen in more than 80 years as Democrats lost 600 nationwide seats in various levels of government office across the nation.. Why? Thanks to President Obama’s failures even with media bias, his radical administration had provoked the anger of the American people, but the Democratic propaganda machinery began its inevitable false narratives of contrived lies. In order to discredit the Tea Party’s influence upon Washington and the GOP as being extremist when this hasty generalization could not be more wrong.
The Tea Party was even attacked by the Republican establishment, the RINO’s (Republicans In Name Only), moderate Republicans, and Democratic plants who deplore the core values of conservatives and traditional Republicans as self-reliance is the very enemy of Democrat policy! In a nation where the private sector generates a healthy economy, opportunities for employees, and economic growth there is no room for the big government, massive regulatory agenda, and high deficit spending targeted at social engineering programs that only create more dependency just to buy votes. As government regulations prevent the drilling and recovery of natural gas all over America, a clean burning fuel, only the gas and oil production on private property escapes the imposition of federal regulatory shut-downs.
Big government discourages free enterprise
Only the private sector produces as opposed to government programs especially who President Obama refused to sign permits for the Keystone XL Pipeline. This pipeline that would establish a low cost and secure form of energy distribution, a project that would have created an estimated 40,000 jobs while providing local tax revenues for all state and county jurisdictions hosting the pipeline was not permitted by the President. Why, because Democrats get no political mileage out of successful private projects that generate cheap energy and economic growth if it is not provided by the federal government itself.
This is only one of many suppressed private sector generated projects that would create more jobs and prove to Americans that the government is not necessary for everything we need. When government power is used to intentionally suppress private employment, commerce, and growth then you can bet that it will be the typical statist, collectivists, and leftists who would rather force us all to submit to a welfare state that guarantees government crumbs for everyone while suppressing individual effort and talent while refusing to reward those who are more productive. Under their government created utopia there is no incentive excel or work harder because the lazy and wards of the state will get just as much as the affluent are punished for their success.
The Tea Party echoes the sentiments of our forefathers who penned the Constitution and guaranteed that all US Citizens would not have their right to determine their own destiny denied by big intrusive government that serves only to perpetuate itself at the cost of stifling the very private sector it competes with through creating more costly infrastructure and bureaucracy. Such organizations as the Tea Party will always be at odds with the leftist element that simply won’t allow such threatening concepts as individual freedom and independence to exist without constant attack.
