"Sir" Filmed Pupil Having Sex in School Outing Scandal
MICHAEL Clarkson a master of Classics at Shrewsbury has been dismissed from his post after a disciplinary hearing. On a shcool outing, he is alleged to have allowed drinking and a 17 year-old pupil to use his room for a sex session with a girl picked up at a night club. The pupil spotted Clarkson setting up a camcorder and reported it to the Head on his return.
He wrote a letter to parents stating how the trip was to be viewed as an extension of school and that no alcohol was to be consumed at any point during the week-long excursion.
At the Birmingham hearing, it emerged that Clarkson failed to impose any curfews on the pupils and allowed them to drink alcohol at a nightclub until 4.30am.
On the final night of the trip, Clarkson allowed a 17-year-old pupil use his hotel room to have sex with a girl he had met in the nightclub.
The pupil used Clarkson's room once to have sex before returning to the nightclub.
When the pupil asked Clarkson if he could use the room for a second time, the teacher agreed and told him to text him when he was done so he could give the girl a lift home.
But during the second sex session, the 17-year-old boy, who was referred to as pupil A, noticed a video camera lens pointing at the bed.
He then realised the camera was active and checked back through the footage.
At the start of the footage he saw Clarkson setting up the camera and positioning it in the bedroom.
The pupil confronted his teacher following the incident and Clarkson apologised saying it was just a silly joke.
When he returned to the school, pupil A told, Second Master, Mike Tonks, about the incident and Clarkson was suspended pending a full investigation.
Mr Tonks conducted the investigation and established that curfew times had become later and later and on the final night, Friday April 12, 2006, there was no curfew at all.
He also concluded that the approach to alcohol during the trip was 'relaxed' and very few formal rules were put in place for the pupils.
Clarkson admitted allowing the pupil to use his room for sex and using a video camera to record the incident, but denied consuming alcohol himself while in charge of the pupils.
Pupil A was interviewed by West Mercia Police in May 2006 but no charges were brought against Clarkson.
Due to the age of the pupil, it was not regarded as a child protection issue.
Clarkson was dismissed from The Shrewsbury School in July 2006 following a full disciplinary hearing.

Brit teachers produce 80 percent of the child pornography in some force areas. The SOA 2003 & POCA has U18 youngsters doing sex as a child pornography benchmark. We have so many teachers doing sex with kids, filming showers, there are thousands of them.
