Site Offers Reward for Tony Blair's Arrest: Chilcott Inquiry Next
A website offering a reward for the arrest of Tony Blair has reached £9,000 in just 2 days.
The website called Blair Arrest was launched January 25th, just 2 days before he was due to give evidence to the Chilcott Inquiry into the Iraq war.
This website says, ''This site offers a reward to people attempting a peaceful citizen’s arrest of the former British prime minister, Tony Blair, for crimes against peace. Anyone attempting an arrest which meets the rules laid down on the website will be entitled to one quarter of the money collected at the time of his or her application.''
The inquiry will consider the period from the summer of 2001 to the end of July 2009, embracing the run-up to the conflict in Iraq, the military action, and the aftermath.
