The remains of a small child has been found in the woods about a half mile from the Orlando, Florida home of missing 3 year old Caylee Anthony.  A utility worker found the body this morning.  Police are not releasing identity at this time.

Thanks for getting this out, Blue Crush.

You're welcome, General.  The grandparents of little Caylee were on Larry King Live just last night, it's such a sad case.

Oh, that must have been heart-breaking to watch.

Oh this is so sad, regardless of who the remains belong to.

The latest is that the remains had tape around the mouth.  This has implications on  death penalty degree.  The remains have not been moved but the coroner is on location.  Florida is having very bad weather delaying evidence gathering.  The grandparents were on Larry King last night and are on their way back to Orlando.

The home has been secured as a crime zone. A search warrant is being obtained to search the home again due to materials found at the crime scene.  (sources  WFTV, WOKV).  I added your link to my past story

Oh, I guess that's why they (CNN) mentioned looking for matching tape at the home.  I was thinking maybe it was used to seal the bag. They showed the home, lots of activity and people around.

Thanks for this news flash.

With everyone who has been searching in all areas around Orlando, in the end it is a utility worker who finds this body. Whether it is Caylee or not that in itself is an amazing fact.

I have been watching the developments of the Caylee Anthony case on CNN's Nancy Grace show. I can identify completely with the grandparents and really feel their pain as I watch them. What an awful situation for them to have to consider that their own daughter might have had anything to do with harm to their granddaughter.

The utility worker found the Bag when he needed to take a break to find a place to go to the Bathroom.  This area had been underwater for a long period of time due to the storms this years.  The body was found 3000 feet away from the Anthony Home (source Fox news)

why would the utility worker go 60 feet into the woods to urinate?  most men would go only 6 feet.

Wish I got CNN Headline news channel, I would have liked to watch it tonight.  Here's their blog:

It's a tragic story, and sad, but interesting... surely the DNA' will prove it.... Thanks for posting this!

why did the utility worker go 60 feet into the woods to urinate?  most men would go 6 feet so what gives??

Who cares - and were you there - how do you know he went 60 feet, or 6 feet.....

Lets not get nasty about things, a question was just asked.  It's a legit question, maybe he had to do # 2 and felt more comfortable further back in the woods.

Come on...maybe he had to do more than urinate and didn't want to tell the world...

Point is, they found evidence, and the police know how to do their job, and I am sure they have interrogated the worker.

Is it his fault the mother and grandmother didn't call for a month too?  Maybe he cut their phone lines?

According to the latest on CNN, police are now searching the family home to try and find any similar plastic bags.  Apparently different manufacturers have different markings (Color, Brand, Lot #).   The Grandparents will be on Larry King Live again tomorrow (Friday) night.

When they match the bags up, they can identify the "runs" and know if the bags come from the same "run"...the only problem with this is, who knows how long ago they did this, and if they used all the bags from that box and purchased new ones, then the runs more than likely wont match.

BUT...

If they are lucky, there will either be some bags left in the box, OR they may have used one of the bags from the same box for something else in the house, and they will have a match.

But the more time that passes between finding the bag and checking the house, the less likely they will find matching bags.

What the shame is, is that child was in their back yard all along just about. How sad for Caylee to have been laying there all this time in a plastic bag. Her mother is sick, her grandmother is sick for cover for the daughter. I fell for the father (grandfather ) but he too had a role when he didn't tell the police about the decomp right away. Trying to cover it up was wrong to save his wife's feelings. Did anybody care about Caylee, how she would feel? I don't know how poor little Caylee's life got to the point it did but I hope that no other child has to die the way she did or have a mother like she has no one deserves a mother like that.

I got the "creeps" last night, when they replayed that video, on Larry King, of Casey in jail, saying "I think (or feel) she is close to home."  She seemed so removed from it all ...

I didnt care for the fact with Casey was telling her mom, "I just pray I get out of here, that way I can help you look for Caylee" Umm..hello your babygirl was missing for a whole month! You were too busy out partying and sleeping around, not looking for your daughter!  If that doesn't admit guilt I dont know what does.  I hope they let her rot in prison, no death penalty.  Let her survive in prison for the rest of her life.  You know what they do to women that kill their children in prison??  It's not a pretty site.

She has never acted like a mother who was interested in finding her daughter...this is why the red flags went up right away for law enforcement.

I think that Casey put Caylee's body in the woods the night that her father almost got into the trunk to get something.  I think that Casey got real scared and looked for a fast place to put the body.  I hope they can prove that she had something to do with it and that she gets punished for whatever happen. If it was accidential and she got scared, she should have talked by now and it would have not been as bad for her.

I saw commentary on Fox News yesterday that included a video of this area taken by Fox News from August when it was not under water and there was no body? The implication is that the body was somewhere else and moved to this spot sometime after August.
