True Story behind this false Propaganda is:

Troops thwart LTTE sabotage attempt to destroy transformer - Jaffna

Sri Lankan Army soldiers providing security to a transformer in general area Awarankal in Achchuweli, Jaffna have successfully thwarted an LTTE sabotage attempt to blast off the transformer, reportedly killing two terrorists and recovering a haul of military hardware and medical equipment yesterday (Feb 14) at around 10.40p.m.

The terrorists have made a desperate attempt to attack the military post while blasting off the transformer taking cover with a flurry of small arms fire directed at the troops, security sources said. Troops had retaliated forcing the terrorists to flee; who were later surrounded in an immediately laid military cordon the sources said adding that the terrorists were killed subsequently.

Troops have also uncovered two T-56 assault riffles, four magazines, one GPS, one compass, six hand grenades, an I-com set, three cyanide capsules, one night vision device, batteries, a few other military equipment and medical items and two maps.
