THE 51-year-old Norwegian slain in Consolacion after allegedly holding four persons hostage had been convicted of rape and drugs charges and served time in jail in Norway.
Nils Frode Steen Aksnes had been jailed for a string of cases in his hometown, according to the newspaper Fredriksstad Blad, whose website is at www.f-b.no.
Meanwhile, the complaint police filed against the three persons implicated in Aksnes’s killing lacked the supporting affidavits of witnesses.
The problem is clear that Norway allows its sex offenders to leave Norway and re-offend in the Philippines, Thailand or any country that these guys can pay for their illegal deviant kick's. Nils was not the only sex criminal living here in the Philippines. Two years ago I reported a guy that was reported to be a drunk all the time by his girlfriend and she said he was being held like a hostage in a beach resort to the Norwegian Embassy. I was informed the guy was a known criminal and they knew all about the problem he was causing here. That they where powerless to do anything, it turned out the Norwegian owed money to the owner of the beach resort for a large loan to pay a hospital bill.
In the philippines if you have a criminal record your not allowed to have a passport. Why is it that sex criminals to include Peodofiles in the West are allowed passports and travel to places such as the Philippines to continue their hidous crimes.
I wonder sometimes if it's well if the sex criminal leaves the country its one less pervert we need to deal with.

CEBU CITY -- A Norwegian was stabbed to death Monday morning after he allegedly held hostage four persons inside his house since Saturday night.Nils Frode Aksnes Steen, 51, died of multiple stab wounds at the Eversley Child’s Sanitarium in Mandaue City.
Arrested were Nisil Mate Ceriales, 25; Cheril Mate Nocete, 38; and a 16-year-old girl. They said they were held hostage by the foreigner in his rented house in Grantville Subdivision in Barangay Jugan, Consolacion.
Ceriales said Steen had a gun and threatened to kill them if any of them tried to get out of the house.
He also allegedly ordered the 16-year-old girl to undress and have sex with Ceriales, her cousin, in front of him.

Yes why are these sex criminals allowed to travel abroad to carry on crimes they find easier to get away with in a country where a little bit of money can buy their sexual deviancy's?

I knew this man coz I rent one house from him - Im sorry to hear what he did in Norway and cant jugde him for what they say happen to him in the house. 1 thing I know are he had more than 14 houses there and for sure he got killed by his wife or other near, so they could get his houses. This is so typical Philippines and many other Asian countries, blame the white, put him in jail, deport him and steal all he had.
I dont want to defend Nils in anyway for what he did, but for sure he got killed coz his houses
