Smiling Moon of Hope Shines down on Mumbai 
It seemed like a normal (??) day at work in Mumbai and a regular evening till a colleague of mine discovered this smiling moon.
It seems that the moon aided by the two planets are trying to give a message of hope and assuaging the injuries that the entire population of this bruised city suffered in the last few days.
So I clicked this smiling moon of hope.
If someone has a better snap please upload it and share it with the entire world. If you are in Mumbai get out and have a look at the sky, I think this is not going to last for long...
Just read on Now Public that it is being sighted in Australia..
We are calling up friends and sharing this and everyone is just shouting and screaming, no one has seen such a beautiful FACE of the moon before....
Finally some smiling faces in Mumbai!!
The moon has called it a night in Mumbai and rest of India but it will be there again tomorrow. Applicable to other parts of the world. The best formation was today but tomorrow it will be there again, watch out and smile.
December 2: 2008 India: Now this is what I call a truly Global Family! People from Thailand, Baharin, South Africa, Japan, USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, Argentina, Qatar, Indonesia,Philippines, Albania, Pakistan, Mexico, Ireland, Botawana, Tanzania and New Zealand have contributed some awesome pictures and am sure our friends from Canada will add some more experiences. Those two bright orbs are Venus and Jupiter.
Only planets (and/or the Sun) glow that bright. Considering you can still see we take it over to the second option. Which is planets...which they are :).

The left star is Venus and the right star is Jupiter in my shots Jupiter is below the moon on the Right and Venus is above the moon on the Left.
This is a truly special sight, congrats to all who saw it.

Oh that was a wonderful sight. My children spotted it and were delighted. But couldnt get a picture. Its not only in Mumbai.. we saw it in Muscat, Oman yesterday. Nice of you to share it. I ws showing it to all who missed it.

Hi friends, this smiling moon will be seen for next two days and one correction is the left one is venus and the right one is jupitor and not mars.

I was at the beach in the night with my boyfreind fighting with him and at a sudden i looked at the sky and my face gloo with a smile looking at the smiling moon. it was a beautifull night then for both of us

This happened in 2002 with Venus and Mars. but as you pointed out this time it is Venus and Jupiter.

well.. guys.. its true that this night was special for mumbai.. but the truth is, it was not only people in mumbai who saw it..we, the people of kenya also saw it.. and we are very lucky to see that smiling face in the sky..it was indeed something special..and due to this happening, it might also be carrying a meaning, a clue or a sign of something coming up very soon..no-one, i repeat no-one, not even the scientist can proove what it truly was and why it happened..but congratulations to all who saw the smiling face in the sky (including me)...
