Sri Lankan airlines offered soft drinks which are expired long back. The passengers who consumed got nausea and other symptoms of mild poisoning.

About 160 air passengers who were bound for Colombo onboard a SriLankan Airlines flight on Saturday morning were in for a rude shock when they noticed that some of them were served soft drinks that were well past their expiry dates, airport officials said. While a few passengers developed nausea and other symptoms of mild poisoning after consuming the soft drink, no one required hospitalised.

SriLankan Airlines flight UL–121 was scheduled to leave Chennai at around 10.30 am with 160 passengers. Since the flight was delayed by about two hours, the airlines authorities took them to the departure lounge and served refreshments, which included a light snack and soft drinks. Passengers who consumed a particular brand of carbonated soft drink found the taste appalling and not consumable.

2. Rajapakshe Brothers
3. Indian Army that supplied this partcular brand of soft drinks mixing chemical weapons
