The International Institute of Nonviolence

The high cost of energy is slamming us hard in these current times. Saddam Hussein really wasn't the villian after all in the International scheme of energy after all. We have been at this war game for quite a long time going back to the Reagan Days and the Iraqi Regime. Yet now after getting Saddam, the price game has only escalated higher.

We have taken the course to finding other means to securing energy. We have Dam "Damn" Power, Solar, Wind, Geothermal, Battery Storage, Biofuels. We have discovered that black crude is a renewable as well, when we use algae oil. Algae Oil by the way is no pie in the sky solution. If black crude pollutes certainly Algae Oil pollutes as well. That is no Global Warming Solution.

Hey but all the other ideas have back sides to them as well. Solar is pretty useless at night, and the wind doesn't always blow when you want it, or it blows so hard it blows away the neighborhood.  Batteries always need recharging. So where is all this going? Geothermal Development is so expensive to drill. Heck I can't even afford to drill my own water well, let alone drill down to hot rocks for using steam to make my energy. We know how bad those "Damn's" for Power, affects our water streams, and disrupts fish life, and the environment producing water shortages, and fights over water rights. 

Biofuels are really a joke as well. It takes a lot of energy to grow corn, or switch grass. Fill up the tractor with what? Plowing disking, harvesting, then unloading, fermenting, and the the cost of energy to make energy in making biofuels is much higher energy use than using electrolysis to make hydrogen gas. Why or What?  All the genius's don't see this quandry?

All this stuff just doesn''t seem to fly, and perhaps that is our trouble. We need to get it to fly in order to work, and be profitable for us all to use. Lets not use our good land space to all these energy gimmicks. And how about our air quality?  Forget the nuclear route. It just is not fun, and does not fly in my opinion. Iran should work to give up the nuclear stuff, there are no rights in having nuclear power. In fact nuclear goes against human rights. I  am hoping we do the fun energy projects.

Here is something I found to be dreaming about. I see a day when solar panel ballons go up and get closer to the sun to generate electricity. From those balloons they also fly solar kites, that stay suspended forever in the wind stream. Electric is sent back to the ground and put on the grid for people to use. The ballons stay aloft by electrolysis of water made into hydrogen gas, that keeps the balloon aloft indefinitely. Perhaps if we get those balloons high enough we can have electricity day and night.

One great place to set this up is on the Equator near the Kiribati Islands. The sun shines all the time. How about this scientfic break through? Come on everyone.

Let's do the exciting stuff. I think Solar Balloons and kites are very possible. Water could be piped up to the balloons for the electrolysis, figuring the amount needed to make it into gas to keep the balloons constantly full of hydrogen gas. This would be fun to do, and I am delighted to see it will work.
