Soledad Canyon trail in July 2008, sometime after the fire. the area to the right of the trail had burnt and was regrowing while the area to the left was untouched. The trail now (February 2009) look pretty much looks like the area to the left.

This is a view of the Soledad Canyon Trail in the Organ Mountains which are east of Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA. This area is part of the Chihuahuan desert which is the largest desert in North America.
