Something is happening in America

Credible figures in the political landscape of America are acknowledging that something is happening today in America that is out of the ordinary - indicating the presence of a more profound and engaged commitment to make the kind of leap could that can change the future of America and by consequence, of the world.   Obama appeals to educated white and black voters who share his perspective - also shared by technocrats "who perceive many important societal problems as being solvable, often while proposing technology-focused solutions" (wiki). Thereby his allusion to an "ipod government" - one which communicates choices and proposed government plans more clearly in order to reduce waste and to reduce the gap between government and the people it serves.

"In recent days, there is a sense of movement and a sense of spirit," explained Lewis, whose influence among African-American House members and many of their white liberal colleagues is substantial. "Something is happening in America and people are prepared and ready to make that great leap."

Lewis is the second African-American congressman from Georgia to announce that, despite having endorsed Clinton, he will cast his
superdelegate vote for Obama when it comes time to nominate a candidate.
