Son of female scientist facing case in US handed over to Pakistan
Afghanistan government handed over custody of Dr. Aafia’s son Muhammad Ahmed to Pakistani authorities in Kabul on Monday.
According to Foreign Ministry sources in Islamabad, officials of Pakistan and Afghanistan met today in Kabul after which Afghanistan’s interior ministry official Daud Panj Sheri handed over Muhmmad Ahmed to Pakistani ambassador Asif Durrani.
It may be mentioned here that US officials claimed to have arrested Dr. Aafia and her three children from Ghazni in 2003. Dr Aafia is facing charges of attacking her American investigators in Afghanistan.
One of the three children had already died while there was no information about her daughter whether she would be handed over to Pakistani official or not. It is expected that Muhammad Ahmed will be sent to Pakistan by the first available flight.

Aafia Siddiqui Arrested for Attempting to Kill United States Officers in Afghanistan
NEW YORK- Michael J. Garcia, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Mark J. Mershon, the Assistant Director-in-Charge of the New York Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation ("FBI"), and Raymond W. Kelly, the Police Commissioner of the City of New York, announced today the arrest of Aafia Siddiqui on charges related to her attempted murder and assault of United States officers and employees in Afghanistan. Siddiqui arrived in New York this evening and will be presented tomorrow before a United States Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. According to the Complaint filed in Manhattan federal court:
On July 17, 2008, officers of the Ghazni Province Afghanistan National Police ("ANP") observed Siddiqui outside the Ghazni governor's compound. ANP officers questioned Siddiqui, regarded her as suspicious, and searched her handbag. In it, they found numerous documents describing the creation of explosives, as well as excerpts from the Anarchist's Arsenal. Siddiqui's papers included descriptions of various landmarks in the United States, including in New York City. Siddiqui was also in possession of substances that were sealed in bottles and glass jars.
On July 18, 2008, a party of United States personnel, including two FBI special agents, a United States Army Warrant Officer, a United States Army Captain, and United States military interpreters, arrived at the Afghan facility where Siddiqui was being held. The personnel entered a second floor meeting room -- unaware that Siddiqui was being held there, unsecured, behind a curtain.
The Warrant Officer took a seat and placed his United States Army M-4 rifle on the floor next to the curtain. Shortly after the meeting began, the Captain heard a woman yell from the curtain and, when he turned, saw Siddiqui holding the Warrant Officer's rifle and pointing it directly at the Captain. Siddiqui said, "May the blood of [unintelligible] be directly on your [unintelligible, possibly head or hands]." The interpreter seated closest to Siddiqui lunged at her and pushed the rifle away as Siddiqui pulled the trigger. Siddiqui fired at least two shots but no one was hit. The Warrant Officer returned fire with a 9 mm service pistol and fired approximately two rounds at Siddiqui's torso, hitting her at least once.
Despite being shot, Siddiqui struggled with the officers when they tried to subdue her; she struck and kicked them while shouting in English that she wanted to kill Americans. After being subdued, Siddiqui temporarily lost consciousness. The agents and officers then rendered medical aid to Siddiqui.
Siddiqui, a 36-year-old Pakistani woman who previously resided in the United States, is charged in a criminal Complaint filed in the Southern District of New York with one count of attempting to kill United States officers and employees and one count of assaulting United States officers and employees. If convicted, Siddiqui faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison on each charge.

I have no need to read this trash. I know how she reached Ghazni and how charges have been framed against her. The intelligence people do everything they can to cover up their crimes. The Musharraf-led regime in Pakistan has been doing the same.

first of all, the link you provided does not lead to the story. And CJaye didn't provide 'trash' as you put it. This is our government's side of the story. If you object, please provide that information. and some verifiable links of reports from your country, and perhaps Afghanistan, too.
This is the only info the world seems to have, and just calling it trash and that you know the truth is not adequate.

I'm sorry you feel it's trash. Show me something anything that proves me wrong please. All I'm doing is showing you what is clearly a public document from my Government. I do take offense I have a friend in the FBI works undercover in your countries. Your not as innocent as your trying to make everybody think so stop with the name calling. Show me something!!!!!! You have nothing to show PROOF is in the PUDDING!!!!!!!!

Rene, the world does not know only this but much more and I think I am not bound to provide that information to you.
at 14:42 on September 15th, 2008
That's a pretty crappy attitude to take don't you think? Your not bound to anybody! She just ask you to give the proper link which you didn't do the FIRST time!!! Where do you get your material from people want to know my friends want to know.
at 17:47 on September 15th, 2008
You don't have to provide that information to me, but if you want to post stories on NowPublic, we do require corroborating links to stories. some kind of evidence, hussain.
And despite what you believe the 'world' is, as you put it, it is much larger than Pakistan, and does not know what you accuse it of.
So why don't you enlighten us?
with evidence.

Did you write this version here as well? It doesn't have a name on it so I can't tell. If you didn't you need to highlight outside sources so that the readers know the material is not yours.
at 20:37 on September 15th, 2008
No I did not write that. What did I post, its source has been mentioned in the end i.e. thenews.com.pk

Hi Hussain, Thanks for your clarification. But Please can u use the Highlighter tool. Also we found similar content on the website, that's why we asked you?
at 21:42 on September 15th, 2008
I did use the highlight tool for a few times but that did not highlight the story properly, so I mentioned the source in the end. Obviously, it was story of any agency that was posted on The News website so the same might be there on many other sites. However, its updated version was written by me as soon as the boy reached home of his aunt.

The highlight tool works just fine believe me I have problems with my program all the time the highlight tool was the #1 problem I THOUGHT until I learned how to use it. You have to highlight first:) that's why it's called the hightool, then you upload it. When this is done properly it will list your source you don't have to. If you need anymore help I will be glad to help you because when I needed help someone came to me.
