KCTV (North-South Korean Military Working Talks Held)
Kim Jong II – The leader of North Korea is facing a very difficult decision in the very near future. Does he choose to work with South Korea and the U.S. during strategic firing of shells and current artillery manuevers forming an alliance with South Korea and the U.S.? Or does he refuse to allow South Korean Puppet Forces to continue their exercises against the DPRK in the Yellow Sea next week. The future military practices will include U.S. nuclear powered aircraft carriers and this is one reason that North Korea is up in arms over the joint military tactics which are pushing Jong II to the "brink of war," he said.

As a U.S. nuclear-powered aircraft carrier headed toward the Yellow Sea for exercises next week with South Korea, the North warned that the joint maneuvers will push the Korean peninsula to the “brink of war.”
"The situation on the Korean Peninsula is inching closer to the brink of war due to the reckless plan of those trigger-happy elements to stage again the war exercises targeted against the DPRK," the report said. The warning came as Lee Hee-won, a presidential security aide, has been named South Korea's new defense minister after the resignation of Kim Tae-young a day earlier, the Defense Ministry's press office said Friday.
