On Sunday, July 26, Southwest Airlines Flight 693 made an emergency landing at the MacArthur Airport on Long Island, while heading to Orlando, Florida.
The plane landed after a flight attendant reported smelling an ordor of smoke, or overheated electrical wiring, in the cabin. All 131 passengers and crew were evacuated from the 737 aircraft, and paramedics and fire officials arrived in case they were needed. The passengers were then transferred to another flight.
However, the emergency was a false alarm--the odor that the flight attendant had smelled came from coffee grounds in a pot.
After investigating, FAA officials determined that the smoke coming from the rear cabin of the plane was coffee grounds in a coffee pot; there was no electrical problem or fire.

Coffee braking news, just imagine the embarrassment and ribbing that the flight attendant will received and has received over this incident.
