Spain protesters defy ban to remain in Madrid square

Some 25,000 Spaniards continued a Madrid protest against government austerity plans, in defiance of a ban on demonstration, on the eve of local elections. The protest began six days ago as a spontaneous sitting at a main square in Madrid by young Spaniards frustrated at youth unemployment.
