Please sit back in a comfortable and drink coffee with me, be careful not to spill coffee on your lap.  Please let my words sink in, even if you have religious convictions that contradicts, my honestly given opinion and beliefs. Somewhere within my renderings, you will find your self agreeing hopefully.  I really want everyone to be aware our planet needs saving,  it needs saving from us!

Please enjoy… (Make sure you’re comfortable)

We humans are related to every creature on this planet and of course those that are now completely extinct.  All beings on this earth are within a food chain, in fact if our intellect had not developed us the ability of securing our selves from our prey. We would of most likely ended up as a species threaten with extinction.

Our intelligence and use of our paws that we of course refer to as being hand has led us to be at the top of the ladder. In some ways because we are not culled by predators it has caused a Hugh problem of over population. This over population factor plays a big factor why so many of earth species are extinct, or at a real threat of extinction. Tree’s, jungles have been cleared to be used as farm lands. We have polluted rivers and seas, lakes and even our atmosphere.

We humans have to learn to be much, much more responsible it starts with population control and looking after a planet that is suffering from our negligence. As the most intelligent species we have to learn to be more responsible for our actions to survive.

Species such as bee’s and pollinators are in fact important to our own well being, the fish and coral in the sea’s also. Forrest and Jungles clean the very air we and many species on this planet breath we just can not pump our chemicals in the lakes, rivers and seas as we have done. In my opinion it’s over population that is the real problem.

One child per family for two generations and then there after only two is the only solution that I can suggest and more work on making sure other species survive and live in harmony with us the ape’s that call themselves humans.

Of course my suggested population plan would not be put to work, religion and politics would not let it happen in a democratic or religious society.  In fact it’s not really my idea, but a Chinese one and they introduced within their communist plan. Could it be when they rule the world in a decade, or, so? They will ensure the survival of the human race by implementing the one child plan?

There of course is one more possibility that the human race expands into space to populate other planet’s to relieve the problems on mother earth. But where every we go we take our problems with us, we pollute!

I was inspired by the following  BBC.com article

More than a third of species assessed in a major international biodiversity study are threatened with extinction, scientists have warned.
Out of the 47,677 species in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, 17,291 were deemed to be at serious risk.
These included 21% of all known mammals, 30% of amphibians, 70% of plants and 35% of invertebrates.
Conservationists warned that not enough was being done to tackle the main threats, such as habitat loss.
"The scientific evidence of a serious extinction crisis is mounting," warned Jane Smart, director of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature's (IUCN) Biodiversity Conservation Group.

Please share a moment of time with me and view the worlds biggest problem. YES US. no not the USA! but us humans.

Good article Babel.  Yes we are all interrelated.  Take one species out of the equation and we upset the sensitive balance of this globe.

Lack of bees in the Canadian prairies have become a problem as it affect pollination of crop.

I have a machine that creates electricity without polluting.

But can you stop your own pollution?

Your waste material flushed every day and when you let wind you pollute the air. Billions of people can turn into trillions without birth control. It's our biggest problem, population control will be very necessary in the future this planet can only feed so many.

Renewable energy is a present problem, population is a future problem especially the fact that people are leading longer lives. It goes beyond health care and being able to afford benefits and pensions its a problem looming nearer and nearer it the reason even now that poverty is increasing that can be seen here in the Philippines. Fish stocks are all ready worrying scientists and governments especial here in the third world.

Good Post Babel-Fish. Do not forget all the micro organism that keep us alive and that are starting to feel the pressure of our pollution to the point that it literally kill them. We will just follow them, eventually we become extinct and if some thing is still alive on this planet after our extinction it will strive again and maybe the bees will come back in some form, but Humanity most likely won't. The Earth is not going to let a destructive Mammal such as our self evolved again.

One tip for every one, when making love think pollution, lol

The ecologists' mantra -- Everything is connected to everything else.  We kill off those species at our peril.

That's the problem of survival the winning species over populates and normally ends up starving it self to death if nature does not cull the species. Our problem is we have the ability to cure the sick and protect our selves from predators, it means if we don't use our intelligence, we will die from our own pollution and because we destroy species that insure our food chain.

Humans need to get a handle on things, that much is true, good piece in that respect. If Humans became clever to avoid predators, why are wildabeast so dumb ! God made people

If there is a God he started small (atoms) to end up big the first attempt would have led to large size and great strength they where then made extinct. Then his evolution guidance created more clever creatures and plants that could evade predictors and survive. Thus if there was a God that's how records of species development lead to the creation of man.

However those that wrote about a God or Gods had no damn clue about evolution and of course used their imagination thus the folk stories with in religious text.

Of course being an atheist I really don't believe in a God but had to answer your comment with the total respect it deserves as it seems you do. It also cuts out a real evolution v religion argument as such and offers a center line logic view.

Thanks for the reply. What a lot of evolutionists fail to understand is that God existed before time and as such exists outside time, 6 days or 6 billion years, without linear time the difference is meaningless. So why didnt God just put all the minerals in the ground ? Why did God make billion year old trees to rot, producing fossil fuels ? To God what is the difference, without linear time ? God exists in all times at the same time, we were not here growing huge beards and impatient waiting for the oil.

Go evolution. or revolution or nanolution. Is that a word? Well Done Babel.

Ranchers in the western US asked the Native Americans if they could kill all of the prairie dogs.  The Chef said, if you kill all of the prairie dogs who will bury the rain? Of course the Ranchers didn't understand what the Old Chef mint by this, so they decided that they would go ahead and start killing all the prairie dogs.. Well, the next year when the rains came, they saw the land washed away by the water flowing over the plains.

The Prairie dogs were not their to "bury the rain"  So the rain washed away the prairie...

(a story I heard last week on NPR  I think)

Nice story, nice spin, but in real life, on the prairie, it doesn't work that way.

So if you believe in evolution....what about the evolution of God? Maybe God knows it all, or he is trying different things as he goes along.. God doesn't need this world to survive....we do.. If we kill our selves....do you think that is the end of humanity? If everyone on the planet just suddenly died tonight....do you think God would not put a new Adam and Eve to start again? And if you think about that......ever wonder how many times he has done that? That is if we believe everyone on the planet died suddenly one night. This is why I don't believe in Atheism because they rely on a theory they can't prove they created... or prove that evolution is not a process of God's doing.

Long live God.

The argument of they can not prove it is gradually changing to they are proving it. Evolution is tagged as a theory it did start out as one. The wonders of DNA and all those buried bones.

Adam and Eve where of course a couple of monkeys its was all a case of cross breeding and suvival of the fittest and cleverest.  That story in the religious text has the flaws that show that the story was penned by a man. But as stories go it was a very imaginative one that shows the Jews have always been a very clever race, as where the Greeks and there beautiful stories about their gods.

I do love the native Indian stories they are much more inventive and humorous than the Greeks or the Jewish ones. Then those beautiful Australian aboriginal folk tales. All the races mentioned here at one time or still do, believed the tales and their religions.

I have proof that I am an ape, I love to eat banana's, lol

Evolution has changed into a science as the theories have been folding in to proven facts.

Go REV. The infinite does not depend on anything that is done here in the finite.
