Noted film director Steven Spielberg has given initial seed moeny for this upcoming museum. He spent the money earned from famous film Schindler's List.

A foundation created by director Steven Spielberg has given $1m (£504,377) to the National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia.

The money from the Righteous Persons Foundation, founded in 1994, will help create a five-storey museum building in the city.

The new museum is set to open in 2010 on Philadelphia's Independence Mall.
