Farmers
There is one group of folks who are really excited about springtime. It’s the farmers. Some have gardens already planted. Some are waiting for the fields to dry so they can plough.\
This post is for the people who have needy plants.

We've been concentrating on the farmers markets with in a 50 mile or so radius. Makes for nice weekend drives and interesting conversations. Small organic farming seems to be really coming along. My wife is extending her outdoor herb garden this year to incorporate heirloom tomatoes, Bermuda onion, red garlic, peppers, chard and collard greens on a small scale from certified organic seeds. I've built boxes for a mixed planting style not the typical dedicated planting. We'll see how it goes.

I am looking for salsify seeds -- vegetable oysters.

You can get salsify seeds online. I've eaten salsify probably why I don't eat oysters. LOL.

God has it that we are finding common ground in the oyster bed of life.
