By Jonathan Miller - Just three months after the Sri Lankan government declared the country liberated from the Tamil Tigers, video footage has emerged apparently showing government troops summarily executing Tamils.
Journalists for Democracy in Sri Lanka, which obtained the material, said it was filmed in January - when the international media were prevented by the Sri Lankan government from covering the conflict zone.
This is how Sri Lanka treating Tamils. The same happened in Jaffna in chemmanai where they executed 600 young Tamils. How can a country like Sri Lanka, nr #1 Human rights violator still be member of UN and able get funds and loans from the west?
This is just one leaked video. Imagine the fate of many thousands of young Tamils 'arrested' by the government.

Who the * are you to decide about others life. These are Tamils 'arrested' and abducted by the army. Tamils know that this kind of atrocities were happening for years. And many Sinhalese in the south in late 1980's ( JVP era ) know this too. There is enough proof against the Sri Lankan state. It is about time the west and other sinhalese ppl open up their eyes and see the true nature of the sri lankan government.

These are Tamils 'suspected to be LTTE by the Sri Lankan government'.
LTTE cadres wear cyanide capsule they take in case of capture by the enemy.
This kind of atrocities is still going on in vanni. Thats why the government banned the media. most young Tamils arrested by SLA end up like this.
It is the nature of Sri Lankan government and army. They certainly live up to their reputation as Nr #1 Human Rights Violating country.

The original Channel 4 video, before it was altered, doctored and shown by the rogue Channel. The dialog is in Tamil and it is believed that those killed are captured soldiers who were Sinhala teachers to LTTE cadres

Seriously, you should listen the Tamil dialog. Their accent no way near the accent Tamils from north or east. It is clearly to hear that some Sinhalese are trying to talk in Tamil.

The correct interpretation of the Tamil accent can be obtained from the Tamil guy who went on a hunger strike opposite McDonalds at a cost of 7.1m Pounds Sterling to the UK Govt, yet tucked his face with McBurgers on the sly. Talk about integrity.
