The world keeps silent about Sri lanka's secret Genocidal war against the Tamil population!

According to Gordon Weiss (ex U.N. in Sri Lanka) up to 40.000 tamil civilians were slaughtered by the sri lankan army during the final weeks of the "war" in Mullaithevu last year. Hospitals, schools and houses were shelled by the airforce, navy and groundtroops while the government was very busy killing, intimidating and keeping away independent media from covering the truth!

The real truth about Rajapaksa's "liberation" war lies in their apartheids regime against the Tamil Population as they never targeted the LTTE (they were only a few thousand) but attacked Civilians and their infrastructure, chasing them in to a so called "safe" zone telling the world for months that there were only 70.000 civilians left there. Reality shows that more than 330.000 civilians were trapped when they were detained in nazi style concentrationcamps. Only 280.000 tamils made it to these camps while over 25.000 severely wounded people were not able to escape the Sri lankan Army when they attacked during the final days! Tamils who escaped are telling that Karuna (ex LTTE) had infiltrated with his fighters dressed in Tamil Tiger outfit to shoot at Tamils who tried to escape! They did that on orders from Colombo to discredit the remaining  LTTE who were trying to defend their own people! Those LTTE were mainly tamil Eelam police and political leaders with their families while most of their fighters were already dead or had surrendered!

During the last year of this genocidal war, the LTTE had asked for many times to put up a cease fire so that the world could help the 300.000 civilians to escape the massacres under U.N. guidance and control! The world looked away and paved a way for a genocide that is ongoing til this very day! Thousands and thousands of Tamils demonstrated worldwide trying to get attention for warcrimes committed against their relatives but all they got were hollow words and blame of being Tamil Tiger supporters!

Thanks to ignorance, hundreds of thousands of the original tamil population are now living in open prisons controlled by the sri lankan army or paramilitary death squads like karuna and the EPDP.

Thousands of youth are missing, being killed, detained, tortured and abused in secret camps or ended up as a child soldier in Karuna's paramilitary group.

when you look at the Tamil Tigers, there were two groups! the North (Prabhakaran) and the East (Karuna). After the cease fire the LTTE refrained from childrecruitment and were monitored by the SLMM who worked together with the Tigers and the Government. During the previous wars it was Karuna who had a very known reputation of recruiting children and murdering sinhala/muslem citizens and police and even after he was banned by Prabhakaran and joined Rajapaksa's Government he kept on abducting very young boys for his paramilitary using them also in the final war against the LTTE.

The International Community should stop the persecution of EelamTamils by demanding independent investigations into the final years of this "liberation war" and recognize a peaceful Tamil demand for justice and safety from sri lankan state terrorism by giving them support in their struggle for their freedom and their (ancient) homeland Tamil Eelam.
