Sri Lankan Army continues attack - 51 Civilians killed -28-Mar-09
Sri Lankan army is continuing the attack at Mathalan area still killing over 51 civilans and wounded over 50. Also the International red cross (ICRC) ship that was at the area got damaged by this attack.
The Sri Lankan army's firing today ( 28-March-2009, Saturday) also hit the ship called 'Green Ocean' run by International red cross who are helping the affected civilians in Vanni region. Two humanararian workers with the red cross team including Chrisrin could escape the firing by chance.
The government declared safe-zone areas like Mathalan, AmbalavanPokkanai, Mullivaikaal and Valaingar Madam are under Sri Lankan army attack by artilary, MBRL and gun shots.
The 51 civilans who are killed include 15 children, a 5 months pregnent women and 5 members belonging to the same family.
The details on 5 members killed from the same family:
1) Kamalanathan Udhyatharani ( Age 35)
2) Kamalanathan KapilRaj ( Age 14)
3) Kamalanathan Priyanga (Age 10)
4) Kamalanathan Priyadharsini ( Age 7)
5) Kamalanathan Pugazhavan (Age 7)
The above five members were killed while at sleep when Sri Lankan army launched the attack at early morning 3.00 AM .
The name of the 5 months pregnant women is identified as Dhusyanthan ArulMalar ( Age 35)

I could see a lot of Tamil diaspora depend on these regional news to see if their relarives or friends are in the list as all the communication channels are blocked by sri lankan government.

This is the time for Sinhala people to raise their voice against genocide Sri lankan government. You cannot just sit and watch this Sri lankan Government war crime. At leaset the few Nowpublic Sinhala members have to act against Sri lanka govenment to stop killing Tamil Civilians. If you don't care about your country own Tamil people then it obvious that Tamils cannot live with you in Sri lanka
Please act now. Sri lankan government doen't listen UN, USA, UK or human right groups. Sometimes SL Government might listen Sinhala people. Please....If you can ...Please help Tamils
