Sri Lankan army continues the killings of Tamils

Hundreds of Tamils feared killed by the Sri Lankan army when they entered the No Fire zone they declared. By blocking free media from the warzone the Sri Lankan government thinks that they can hide all therie crimes against the Tamils. Eyewitness from the war zone said that the human casualties are much more than reported. Tamilnet only reports the victims taken to the hospital. But many say that there many victims didn't brought to hospitals.

Sri  Lankan government doesn't care about the Tamil civilians. They don't mind killing 100 Tamils to kill a LTTE fighter. This has been happening for years. And the Sri Lankan government keep saying that they are liberating.

But one sure is for sure. They are no liberating Tamil Civilians. They claim that every day Tamils from the war zone seek protection with the army. But the truth is, these civilians just can't handle the shells and bombs the army firing at them. They know they will be handled as prisoners under the army control. So many just take that risk to stay alive. And they are kept in detention camps. Gov call them welfare camps.

What is welfare if you; separate kids from their parents, kill many youth in the name of suspected terrorist, rape many tamil women, not allowing relatives to visit them.

This is called liberating? First they start a military offensive forcing ppl to flee and now they acting like they are ding this for the Tamils.

Where is the UN? How come those world wide protests of Tamils against the Sri Lankan government is not answered? Why is the world so blind?

Will there be a time for Tamils in Sri Lanka to live in peace and freedom?

Jaffna is 13 years ago "liberated' by the army. But it is still an open jail. I'm afraid that freedom for Tamils in Sri Lanka will always be a dream.
