Latest news confirms that Tamils civilians suffered more casualties and wounded due to intensified air strikes in the 'safety zone'.

Colombo turns firepower onto 'safety zone' [TamilNet, Tuesday, 07 April 2009, 09:51 GMT]
Civilians inside the so-called safety zone have been forced to remain under bunkers as Sri Lanka Army (SLA) stepped up shelling and long-distance gunfire since Monday morning. Those who move on the road have come under long-distance gunfire by the SLA. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) fighter jets were seen flying over the safety zone and carrying out air attacks. Local humanitarian activists in Vanni said that this is the last opportunity for the civilized world to uphold human values by taking immediate action of protecting the civilians from falling into the hands of an 'avowed genocidal government'.

This is completely unbalanced and fake news. This was taken by a web site run by LTTE which is ranked as most powerful(by firepower) terrorist organization. UN has confirmed that LTTE is responsible for keeping civilians trapped and used as a human shield inside no war zone. Beside it is not practical to use long range weaponry inside an area less than 10 sqKm except small arms. This is not a war against Tamils but against terrorism. LTTE's suicide bombers and assasins have targated innocent Tamil lives as well as Singhalese. Sri Lankan tamils have the right to live and die in their home land, Sri Lanka as Sri Lankans. It is accepted by the law of Sri Lanka. Even my best friend is a Tamil from Jaffna. His girl friend is a singhalese ans mine is a beautiful tamil one. We have no rasialism or hatred but LTTE idiology does. You deside who is right.
