The "headless chicken run" seems to continue, and this time, in Toronto, Canada.
Since the annihilation of the (late) LTTE, the support network abroad have resorted to what they know best, Terrorism.
BRAMPTON – A suspicious overnight fire that gutted a Sri Lankan restaurant is evidence that the Tamil Tigers are "on the rampage in Toronto," charged Sri Lanka's consul general, who said the Sinhalese eatery had been previously targeted and harassed by Tiger flag-waving motorists. Consul General Bandula Jayasekara arrived at the Lanka Gardens restaurant at 220 Wexford Rd. to survey the damage caused to the restaurant, which sometimes caters Sri Lankan consular events in Toronto.
The Sri Lankan diplomat said Lanka Gardens owner Ranjith Tilakaratne told him in a 4:30 a.m. phone call that people waving Tamil Tiger flags had driven around his restaurant in previous weeks, honking their horns and shouting out the window.

This kind of firing the restos and attacking the Sinhalese shops are really to be condemned.
As a Tamil , even though we are against Sinhalese regime which is involved in Gencidal war in Srilanka , strongly condemn this.We are against Sinhalese government not against Sinhalese peoples.
At the Same time , when every Eelam tamil lost atleast one or two family members in Wanni - the celebration of Sinhalese reg. the victory makes angry to every Tamil and which is resulted in this kind of unwanted situation.

If the Sinhalese chose to ransack businesses of Tamils, everytime the LTTE went on one of their killing sprees, there won't be any left.
I used the racial denominations only at yor insistance and this refers to the past 3 years.
Now Sri Lanka is occupied by Sri Lankans and Sri Lankans celebrate their victory over Terrorism.

I'm glad no one got killed or injured. I think the Toronto police will investigate this. Sri lankan officials should know that they are not in sri lanka to point anyone guilty before any investigation is made.
Any sinhalese people worried about tens of thousands of innocent Tamils killed and 300 000 held in detention camps?

Toronto Police is useless . Even if you catch the thief and take him to them they will release the thief. They are more into protecting criminal rights than their taxpayer rights. This restaurant must have paid lot of taxes to government of Canada from its revenue a significant portion ofwhich is spent on welfare of Tamil Tiger refugees there. The Tamil Tiger Refugees are now biting the hand that feeds them.

Singhalese Government will be the people of Sri Lanka. We salute you for your support, recognising the Rule of Law. I am sure those things will die down and things will calmer, so Tamils Diaspora can start living as Canadian citizens. I disagree with you the terminology of genocide, If notice, there are over 60 millions Tamils for 17millon Singhalese. Are you saying that we are hunting down you all? The Toronto Police is investigating the incident and no charges were laid towards any Tamil.
Sri Lanka's consul general can go back to Sri Lanka to live by Sri Lankan Standards. If he wants to live in Toronto, he should go by the decision of the Toronto Police.
Fortunately for Tamils, the Sri Lanka's consul general don't have the Sri Lankan State Terrorist Army / Police in Toronto charge Tamils randomly to any case they want.
Your title is misleading, and you may want to correct that.

Sri Lankan state terrorist government has rescued more than 300000 Tamil civilians kept by LTTE as human shields. TAMIA=LTTE Supporter . Be thankful for the sacrified lives of Sri Lankan Army Soldiers who rescued these civilians. I forgot Tamil Tigers are animal spciees and not humans anyway.

Do not run your Sri Lankan standards in Canada assuming and blaming Tamils for the failures of Sinhalese. If Sinhalese could not study well, then focus on developing more ways to improve yourself rather than introducing quota method to keep Tamils out of Universities. If Sinhalese could not do well in jobs, try harder rather than using Sinhala Language barrier to limit promotions and advancements of Tamils. Try to better yourself rather than living on a complex of Tamils, being intimidated by Tamils' success and want to keep Tamils as second class citizens limit their successes. A pitiable way of life.
Killings of Tamils feeds to the insecurity of the Sinhalese in Sri Lanka, and that is spread to everywhere. Even if a Sinhalese fall, then its Tamils's fault, but the Sinhalese governement systematically have killed thousands and deprived many more in just last threee months is just not worth reporting?!! I dnt care, what some well known LTTE authors have to say abt the SL restraunt being burnt bc. every ltte tamil in toronto knows who did the cowardly attack & every ltte tamil in toronto needs to be questioned or arrested.
