The past few days the media has been a buzz with the death of Michael Jackson, through out his music career Michael achieved front page media attention. He was of course a very peculiar guy that tried to be like Peter Pan. He loved playing with kids it was of course the fact he had never really had a normal child hood due to being a child star.

He was slurred with being a pedophile of which caused many of his fans to stop buying his music. I was one of them, however I now feel a bit guilty as I am beginning to believe that all Michael was guilty of is trying so hard to be a Peter Pan.

He had destroyed his face with so many cosmetic operations and wreaked his body dancing and seemingly taking pain killer drugs. Stress of being a Peter Pan and a music icon and the sordid legal issues, caused by his weird life style helped to push Michael to deaths door.

I have followed Michael’s life since he was a young boy thrown into the adult World of stardom he became the music icon as a child. He was such a weird character but his performances always showed his amazing talents as a great singer and a dancer.

I suspect that age had finally caught up with Peter Pan, Michael could not have cosmetic surgery to solve the ultimate problems of midlife. The body wants to slow down and one loses the energy and vigor of yester year. Michael was set to make a final comeback and of course the routine of practicing and rehearsing and trying to show he had the vigor of his lost youth and the drug addition for pain killers finally took toll.

Michael’s heart final stopped… Peter Pan is dead, but the spirit of Peter Pan will still live on his music, singing and dancing has been recorded for future generation of Michael Jackson fans. Yes Michael Jackson has final achieved his goal, now he is dead, Peter Pan lives on and will never be forgotten just the same as Elvis, Bob Marley and Frank Sinatra.

Some hated him but most of us liked him or at least his performances, music and songs. I have always thought of him being a complete weirdo but respected his talents as a singer and dancer. The weirdness help to make him the icon he was and still will be. RIP MJ... But the show must go on thankfully in this day and age your performances have been recorded and Peter Pan will be thrilling the world for a long time hence.
