Peruvian police have not released the identity of the person whose skin was found under Stephany Flores' fingernails however and are waiting for the DNA tests to come back from the laboratory before they announce any findings. Joran Van Der Sloot is currently being held in jail in Peru accused of killing 21-year-old Stephany Flores but it could be up to a year before any trial begins. A transcript of the confession Peruvian police say they obtained legally from Van Der Sloot describes how he elbowed the young woman in the face before strangling her and then suffocating her to death.
Later however, Van Der Sloot said he did not know what he was signing when he signed that confession and said he was so traumatized from the interrogation he would have signed anything to get out of there.
Recently he has been boasting to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf that he has been receiving love letters and marriage proposals while in prison, but his recent psych report reveals that he has a 'certain dominance over the opposite sex and he does not value females.
