He did it...no matter what he wants to make up now... As I have said on other sites or blogs: this murderer should  not be given all this attention, but I am glad he has. We will always know who he is and the harm he has done and is capable of doing. I think people should stop wasting their energies hating him, wishing he is dead, he is raped, etc etc.. I think we should use all this energy to send our love and support to this family (Flores) for their loss., and the Holloways' of course, because their daughter is still missing and most likely was a victim of this...beast. And we should talk about him, yes, but to our friends, family, loved ones, young girls and boys so they are never tricked by some weird stranger that seems nice. This is a lesson for us to learn and remember there are evil, sick persons and WE have to take care of ourselves and our families. If there is some crazy girl who thinks he is hot and wants to marry him, well maybe they are meant for each other...no one should even care that he is receiving love letters. And as for how and how long he will pay, oh he will. Whether he survives his time in jail or is freed (which is unlikely) he will never really be free. In jail or out of jail... he will pay for this (in life), and not by being raped, beaten up. People just need to know who he is and what he's done, that's enough. He can't get away from this. So don't waste your time hating him, cursing him, threatning him...just make sure you remember that face, name, case and make sure you tell everyone you know and that would be enough...he'll be alone for the rest of his life...

jpep the problem with JVDS and others like him is they always move on, they can always go somewhere unknown and blend in. There were people in that casino who knew who JVDS was, but no one knew what he is. Or what happened while JVDS was going to classes and running his cafe in Muang Ake, during the time he was a student in Thailand. Again, people there had no idea what he is.

While other crazies may send him letters, it is the innocents that he finds on his own, that we have to worry about, if he is ever released. 

You're right "there are evil, sick persons" - but they dress like you and me, they look like you and me and they act like you and me, right up until they beat a girl to death with a tennis racket or make an 18 year old disappear without a trace . There is no way to protect the innocents from the JVDS because their own family's won't admit there is a problem.
