Stephen Harper to Visit Barack Obama in September

Prime Minister Stephen Harper will visit President Barack Obama on September 16, according to a statement posted on the White House website. This will be Harper's first visit to the White House since Obama's presidential inauguration.

Harper and Obama have already met several times - when Obama paid a one-day visit to Ottawa on February 19, his first foreign trip after the inauguration. They will also be meeting this weekend, along with the Mexican President, Felipe Calderon, in Mexico.
