Wisconsin Man, Steven Cowan, Incensesd Over Bristol Palin Dancing With the Stars Performance, Shoots TV

A Vermont, WI man, Steven Cowan, in jail for allegedly shooting his TV during Bristol Palin's performance on Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) and then pointing it at his wife.

The Smoking Reports that a criminal complaint alleges that Steven Cowan, who had been drinking was upset that Bristol Palin was doing well on DWTS because she was a politician's (Sarah Palin's) daughter.

The most recent episode of DWTS 2010 saw Bristol Palin and her partner advance while pop star, Brandy, who was a spectacular dancer, was eliminated from Dancing With The Stars.

Cowan “jumped up and swore, saying something to the effect of, ‘The fucking politics.’ Steven was upset that a political figure’s daughter was dancing on this particular show when Steven did not think that she was a good dancer,” the complaint notes

Apparently, Steven Cowan after shooting his TV and pointing it at his wife, 911 was called and a lengthy stand off with police ensued.

Steven Cowan now faces weapons charges. No word if Steven Cowan was a big Brandy fan as she was eliminated from the finals of DWTS 2010,.
