Stop the War Rally London March 2008
5 years on and we're still marching! It's is estimated that as many as one million have died violent deaths as a result of the occupation of Iraq. The country's infrastructure and civil society are in shreds. In Afghanistan, where Brown is sending more troops, the number of dead runs into tens of thousands, and according to Oxfam, there are four times more bombing raids there than in Iraq. As a direct result of this devastation the power of the Taliban is growing!
What a disaster.
So I went to add my support to the London rally which started in Trafalgar Square at mid day on Saturday 15th March 2008.
