Police investigating the death of a woman whose head was found on a beach have found a suitcase containing body parts in Arbroath Harbour.
They believe the remains are those of Jolanta Bledaite, 35, the Lithuanian woman whose body parts were found on Arbroath beach on Tuesday.
Her head was found by two young sisters and hands were discovered by police.
Two Lithuanian men, aged 19 and 40, have been arrested in connection with the inquiry but not charged.
Dive team
Ms Bledaite was a migrant worker who had been staying in Brechin, Angus.
The discovery of the suitcase was made at about 1530 BST by a member of Grampian Police's specialist Underwater Search and Rescue Dive Team.
They had been asked by Tayside Police to carry out a search of the harbour area.
The body was found by 2 children aged eight and twelve washed up on the beach in Arbroath, TaysideAfter they made the discovery they ran and informed thier Mother who contacted the Police.

A description of the young woman whose severed head and hands were found on a beach has been issued by police.
Officers working on Arbroath beachThe head - in a plastic bag - was found by two young sisters as they played near South Street in Arbroath, in Angus.
Two severed hands have also been discovered on the sand.
Detective Chief Inspector Graham McMillan, the senior investigating officer, said the woman was believed to have been in her mid 20s to mid 30s, with brown eyes, brown eyebrows and shoulder-length brown hair.
He added: "She had a pale complexion with light freckling over thecheeks and bridge of her nose. There is also a distinctive depressedcircular scar in the middle of her forehead, just below the hair line.
"Her nails were short but appear to have been well maintained and groomed."
