Super Power Hubris and Terrorism

The impromptu reactions of Indian leaders to the recent terrorist attack in Mumbai have necessarily been based on revulsion and impulse. Indian Prime Minister repeatedly mentioned the need for co-operation from the International community' and kept Washington informed of the developments in the 'Pakistan'. The problem however in 'running to mama in Washington' with no holds barred could make India end up like the little red ridding hood who ran to grandma to protect herself from the wolf.
