Sure we can all agree, President Bush is neither qualified nor capable...
In the two-hour forum at Orange County's Saddleback Church, Obama told Pastor Rick Warren that it was "above my pay grade" to define when a baby gets human rights
I for one was excited by Obama’s candid response , as a candidate for the office of President of the United States of America Obama is no more qualify to answer these questions than say George W. Bush and I’m sure we can all agree that President Bush is neither qualified nor capable of answering these type’s of questions, it’s simply above his pay scale.
So why then did Vice-Presidential nominee Senator Joe Biden decide to open the door on the stem cell debate Tuesday morning in Columbia?
I’m baffled, it seemed to me that Mr. Obama had found a rather clever way of avoiding these type of evangelic test-tube debates and although many Americans have been critical of Obama for his coy honesty on the topic the fact is Obama stance on the issue was no secret before the forum and is sure to play some role in Republican campaign against him between now and election day making it no secret afterwards.
The other major criticism over Obama’s funny I found to be entirely abstract
As future Commander & Chief Obama should take the reigns of responsibility and make decision on crucial issue such as stem cell research or inceptual rights.
People, this is flawed thinking the President is a manager not a labourer.
His responsibility is to surround himself with the people capable of answering these questions. I know as Americans the last 8 years have deteriorated our confidence in "all the President men" but this is what governing is all about, not one man to rule them but one man to lead them all.
Obama has already conceded that he is no foreign affair guru with the appointment of Senator Joseph Biden as his running mate on the Presidential ticket and has made it clear he will not be afraid to reach across the floor to the Republican party for support in moving the United States forward.
He was open , honest and avoided answering a question that was not central to his platform of hope. Obama knows not only when to avoid answering a "tricky" question but how to avoid it with out looking like a fool, something the people of America have missed over the passed decade.
