Surjewala Tries to Defend Rahul Gandhi for Hasanpur Land Deals

Chandigarh (I-Haryana News): After Two days, INLD Chief, Mr. Om Prakash Chautala made allegations that Congress MP, Mr. Rahul Gandhi has invaded stamp duty while purchasing 6.456 acres land in Village Hassanpur, Tehsil Hodel, District Palwal on Friday Mr. Randeep Singh Surjewala, Parliamentary Affairs Minister issued statement on behalf of Government of Haryana.

It is to mention that earlier When Social Activist Turned Politician Mr. Arvind Kejeriwal made allegations against Mr. Robert Vadra for his link with DLF to grab in Gurgaon district than also Mr. Surjewala came forwarded to defend Mr. Vadra in Media in Press conference but this time he only issued press release.

Following is the statement issued by Mr. Surjewala to the Press today; “Statements of 17th and 18th October of Om Prakash Chautala leveling allegations of alleged non-payment of appropriate stamp duty on purchase of 6.456 acres (51Kanal-13Marlas) of land situated in Village Hassanpur, Tehsil Hodel, District Palwal, Haryana by AICC General Secretary, Shri Rahul Gandhi are completely false, mischievous, motivated and malicious. Shri Om Prakash Chautala had led his entire political career based on falsehood, misconceptions and his mannerism of hoodwinking the people.
