Survivor Producer A Suspect In Wife's Death

Bruce Beresford-Redman, an renowned producer most widely known for his work on the hit reality TV show Survivor, is a suspect in the death of his wife Monica Beresford-Redman who went missing during family vacation in Cancun, Mexico.

Today, her body was found in a gutter at the Moon Palace resort where the couple was staying with their two children. Beresford-Redman reported his wife missing after she left the Moon Palace Hotel to go shopping on Monday, but never returned. The cause of death has not been confirmed yet, although USA Today reports Monica Beresford-Redman has been strangled.

LA Times reports a witness saw the couple arguing "violently" one day before Monica Beresford-Redman went missing. It is also alleged there are scratch marks on Bruce Beresford-Redman's neck.

Beresford-Redman was active in trying to locate his wife while she was missing saying, "I am very hopeful someone will find my wife very soon. She still hasn't been located and we're looking."

No charges have been laid yet, but investigators are actively questioning Beresford-Redman.

Bruce Beresford-Redman is an executive producer and co-creator of MTV show Pimp My Ride.  He also helped produce ABC's Crash Course and NBC's The Restaurant.
