Update: Officials Suspicious Package Poses No Threat

A section of Logan International airport in Boston has been evacuated after a sniffer dog detected a suspicious package ABC news is reporting. CNN reports that two duffel bags were identified as suspicious. Apparently, the mailing address on the duffel bags was to Nigeria.


Massport officials said a cargo area at Logan International Airport was being evacuated as a precaution Tuesday afternoon while investigators examined a suspicious item discovered there.

They said it was the Delta Airlines cargo area located on Harborside Drive, well away from any passenger areas at the airport.

Regular air traffic has not been disrupted.
