Swat Valley - Once a heaven, now a hell

Last night, my elder Sis told me of her trips that she made to Swat Valley during her Uni days. She told me of the good-old-days, the beauty and SERENITY that once used to envelop whole of the Swat Valley, and, with an awe of grief, she compared it with the current turmoil. Pakistan is currently facing it's history's biggest internal displacement ever, since independence (1947).

This morning, while I was browsing through old pics on my laptop I caught hold of an old video folder, containing mobile vidz, and I got this amazing video which I once took from one of my friends belonging to Swat. Despite of the poor quality, this video (I think) is enough to demonstrate the beauty that was once exhibited by the Swat Valley. Whenever I watch it, I feel like I am peeping into heaven.

By the way, I give a damn f*** to this bloody question that who is to blame for, I just care about my brothers and sisters that got displaced and sons of this soil that are fighting those ruthless creatures (Tallies aka Taliban).

I, despite of having a rebel nature and non-patriotic mindset (since I don't believe in nationalism either) still love my homeland, for reasons unknown.

May God bless the whole humanity with peace, Amen!

Thanks for this Nauman.  Hopefully peace will come to your country soon.  The number of UNHCR registered refugees is amazing.

It is easy to destroy and yet very difficult to rebuild.
