People with dogs who need to get outside today must be very careful. I saw a guy carry his dog outside and plop him down in the snow so that he could do his business. The dog seemed to sink and disappear. I am posting more morning pictures with this story. A sad story is posted about a beagle named Sweetie who disappeared.

Homeward Trails Animal Rescue hasn't given up on finding the lovable beagle they named "Sweetie."
Volunteers are out in force in the frigid weather, looking for the happy-go-lucky beagle. Sweetie was saved from a kill shelter a few weeks ago and brought to the Washington area. She slipped away from her foster mom.
Hope is very high in finding Sweetie. Solid tips are coming in from the Prince George's County area.”

My two yorkies didn't want to go out in it here and we only had a couple of inches, looking at their anatomy, I think I can see why.....
