TruemorsTaipei 101 the world's tallest active building located in northern Taiwan is equipped with 3 wind dampers. One of them the world's biggest & heaviest, and the only one made visible to visitors is located on the 89th Floor of the observatory. It has a diameter of 5.5 meters, weighs 660 metric tons, & consists of 41 layers 0f 12.5 cm. steel plates woven together. It was built at a cost of NT$132 million and made to withstand earthquakes.
