A world-wide study into HIV transmission has found that men and women diagnosed with the virus can dramatically reduce the risk of infecting a partner if the HIV carrier starts the treatment while still relatively healthy. Scientist found that infection rate can be reduced by up to 96% if treatment with anti-retroviral drugs is started quickly.
