Breaking news yesterday that a key Taliban leader, Mansoor Dadullah was captured by Pakistani security forces. In contrast, the Taliban captured Tariq Azizuddin, the Pakistan Ambassador to Afghanistan. Now there is a prisoner/hostage swap in the works

Local Taliban who claimed kidnapping of Pakistani Ambassador to Afghanistan demanded release of Mullah Mansoor Dadullah against release of Pakistani envoy.

Globally there is conflicting news reports whether Mullah Dadullah is alive or dead.
