Taliban sue for Peace Pakistan demands pull out of SWAT
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (CNN) -- The Pakistani Taliban -- under pressure in fighting with the military -- said Tuesday it wants to return to a peace deal that recently collapsed
That collapse sparked the ongoing massive military operation, a Taliban spokesman said Tuesday.
Taliban militants in Swat Valley have announced that they are willing to disarm if the Pakistani government allows sharia, or Islamic law, to be implemented in the region, a spokesman for Taliban mediator Sufi Mohammed said.
The government rejected the offer, saying the Taliban must pull out of Swat or face arrest, state information minister Syed Sumsam Ali Shah Bukhari said Tuesday. According to Bukhari, the offer shows that the Taliban's morale is down and they are retreating.
The government has said it will only allow sharia if it does not contradict Pakistan's constitution. There are many interpretations of Islamic law, but the Taliban's version has curbed human rights, forcing women indoors, men to grow beards, and shops to stop selling movies and music.

Oops! Sorry if got a bit emotional... no more deals... no more Daddy supporting his baby... PA will remove them from the face of the Earth... God's with us because we are on his side... Yeah, I have facts to prove my verdict...

Amazing. So did the recently "dustified" LTTE when they got heated from all directions.
Indeed great minds think alike - especially when the respective bodies are under fire..!!

LOL... by the way, let's make one thing dam clear here... we made the deal with them just to show our people what Taliban is really up to... because before that people all over the country were ranting against US and the PA... because people of my country for somehow relate every bad deed to Jews and the US... it doesn't matter that they have any proof or not regarding this... so, it becomes really hard to tackle with such situations... and in these circumstances you have to make use of some notorious sort of military tactics... we did, and, luckily, those Tallies made the mistake what we wanted them to make... and here they are paying the cost...

We all hope you are right, Nauman, and the Taliban disappear off the face of the earth. and they can take all the Saudi wahabi schools that don't teach anything but extremism and chain children up with them.

Yeah, that Wahabi brand of Islam really sucks, has stagnated the repute of all other brands... :(
