In an incident that could give the Frankenstein story a new definition, police said that the chief minister of the Indian state, Tamilnadu received a death threat from LTTE. A strong supporter of the ill-famed "Dravidian" theory based on which the Utopian state of "Tamil Eelam" and LTTE formed, Karunathdhi said to have a love-hate relationship with terror outfit.
Karunanidhi is the inventor of the theory that voicing support to a banned terrorist organization is not an offense - even if it is done by state's democratically elected Chief Minister.
LTTE is banned in India because of their involvement in the brutal murder of former Prime Minister, Rajeev Gandhi.
Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi on Friday received a death threat allegedly from the banned LTTE, police said.
Police said a letter carrying the symbol of the proscribed outfit issuing the death threat was received at Karunanidhi's Gopalpuram residence.
Following the threat, security has been stepped up for the chief minister, who already is in the 'Z plus' category.
A case has been filed with the Central crime branch of the city police which is probing the matter.

Not the first time.
1. Indira Gandhi was instrumental in creating LTTE. Her government gave the LTTE weapons training among other things. What happened? Her own son was killed by the serpent she nourished.
2. R Premadasa gave the LTTE weapons at one time, also many believe the killing of General Denzil Kobbekaduwa and 9 others was done by the LTTE with the backing of R Premadasa. And we all know how Premadasa's life ended.

Mr.M.Karunanidhi is a leader in his 80's and have lived 50+ years for the development of Tamil Community including that of upliftment in Srilanka too and hosted Mr.V.Prabaharan in TamilNadu as his guest once. I thought the Sri Lankan Army has killed all LTTE along with the 4000 Tamils they killed?!!

You seem to have no direction in your thoughts.
First LTTE is the problem.
Then All Tamils are LTTEs.
Then LTTE is finished and done - almost 4000 of them are dead - who are actually Tamils civilians.
The Tamil Nadu supports Tamils rights in Sri Lanka.
Then the LTTE is issuing death threat to Karunanithi?! Think about it, why would LTTE do that ?! The main vote winning recipe now in Tamil Nadu is supporting Tamils in Sri Lanka. All politicians are jumping in the wagon to support Tamils and LTTE publicily. Since you don't like Tamils, may be the Sinhalese extremism send the death threat?!!

Already a mad man, now cornered and coconut scared , who knows what Bhiraphagharan would do in his current present state.I dont know why would banned LTTE threaten to kill him and how they are planning.But let me make an educated guess. Maybe banned LTTEs want him to go to Sri Lanka and fight along with them - an extremely unlikely proposition considering his age and state of health. However I did not write this story, I have given the source clearly.
Tamiya, the fact is that banned LTTE is still "THE" problem till Bhiraphagaran becomes a martyr. I did not say that all Tamilians are LTTEs. All Tamilians cannot be LTTEs because it is not possible for the entire world go mad. But a very few can go mad and when they take to violence, it would be dealt with appropriate measures.

Karunadhi, you are a blacksheep. Our leader is Prabakharan and you are our enemy, tamils trusted and you sold that to sinhala. How dare we call you our leader? No one ever would like you anymore.
Ltte is a reason for all tamil's life. No one can reject that.
