A huge tanker explosion in Indianapolis rocked motorist on I-69 Thursday morning. A tanker truck full of liquid petroleum lost control while on the I-465 bridge causing the tanker to roll. At that point the tanker of the semi exploded. causing a huge explosion that was seen and felt miles away. Five people were injured in the Indianapolis tanker explosion, with two of them sent to hospital. The driver of the tanker suffered only minor injuries.

Both I-69 and I-465 were shut down for approximately two hours after the tanker explosion.
