I actually remember a couple of the clips of news that you have in the video, what an incredible slicing job you have done here. On one he was not talking as the short clip suggested about the number of "Hispanic" people as it sounds but on the skills of the people coming in. He stated that we have always required people coming to this country to be either oppressed by war or during times of peace to have skills and education that was an asset to this country. The video was well made simply bias and racist in it's tone and lacking of fact.

John Tanton is a White nationalist. He is not someone seeking a path toward everyone living together.
The anti immigration movement is organized around the doctrine of White supremacy.

Perhaps Tanton is a raciest and a evil man, that doesn't mean the the rest of the people that are concerned about the boarder are. Did you see where there is a terror alert for the Texas Boarder right now? As for the video I sorry if I accused you falsely however whoever made the tape did some cutting to further their agenda. That is what stinks about politics no one will give out the whole truth. Jim :-)

It is true that not everyone concerned about the U.S. immigration is racist, Jim.
However, it should been borne in mind by all that seek to fully examine and understand the issue seek alternative opinions in addition to any advice/suggestions or campaigns waged by John Tanton's network of organizations.
Second on the list, after the federal government securing the borders, must be listed stern treatment for those seeking to employ those who have not entered the country through proper channels.
Until the employers that exploit the plight of those that come, often using the fear of deportation as leverage, are dealt with in a manner that is a real deterent to their business practices, the lure of jobs and the cycle of abuse, by both sides, will continue.
The sore spot for many, especially those attracted to the Tanton network's philosophy, is concern for amnesty, which would mean more non White people legally in their country.
If some form of normalization of the condition of those already here were to occur, it stands to reason that the alleged driving down of wages that has been attributed to those here unauthorized would be turned around.
At the heart of the Tanton network is its desire to keep non Whites from entering the country, period. No immigration for any non Whites, with others like former Republican Rep. Tom Tancredo of Colorado calling for a moratorium on non White immigration because of what he says has become a 'cult of multiculturalism' in the United States.
The anti immigration fervor over the influx of persons from Mexico has allowed an obvious, germane concern to be exploited by some groups and individuals.
