Taxpayers Being 'Fist Bumped' by Democrats
Until Barack and Michelle Obama received so much attention in the press after exchanging one on the campaign trail, I wasn't very familiar with the "fist bump." So I decided to do some research. The Wikipedia definition for fist bump includes the following:
"The fist bump (also called a knuckleslap, knudge, fist pound, bro-fist, fist kiss, bounce, fist love, knuckle bump, knuckles, pound it, poundage, respect knuckles, respect, knuckle knock, bones, the rock, dap, spud, giving props, knucks, popper, skin, or the get some among other names) is a type of gesture similar in meaning to a handshake, high five or nose rub. A bump also can be known as a symbol of giving of respect. Fist bumps can also be followed by various other hand and body gestures, and may be part of a dap greeting."
When one considers the fact that hard-working Americans find themselves suffocating under exorbitant tax rates, out-of-control federal spending and a skyrocketing national debt, a more accurate portrait of the fist bump -- specifically, the "Democrat fist bump" -- has emerged, courtesy of the creative minds at My Personal Litmus.
