An estimated 2,500 patriots protested against government-run health care and rampant socialism during a rally this afternoon at Kiener Plaza in downtown St. Louis.

As the video and photos (above and below) indicate, they came in all colors, shapes and sizes to hear from a lineup that included, but was not limited to, the following speakers:  Michael Carey of the American Council for Affordable and Reliable Energy; Dave McArthur, owner of McArthur’s Bakery in St. Louis’; James O’Keefe, one of the college students who helped expose corruption and lawlessness at ACORN at BigGovernment.com; and, my favorite, Marty Martinez, a first-generation American from O’Fallon, Mo., who implored the crowd not to let the United States go the way of his native Cuba (See my Oct. 31 interview of him here).
