TEA PARTIERS 'ON FIRE' WITH PELOSI HATRED

In the state of Virginia,  a  TEA Party group in Danville  planned to convene this weekend to burn Congressional lawmakers in effigy.

This is in howling protest of the  passage in the House of health care reform bill H.R. 3962.

The “Fired Up for Freedom” rally in Blairs, VA will reach a crescendo with setting ablaze images of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi  and Rep. Tom Perriello (Democrat-VA).

Danville TEA Party Chairman Nigel Coleman claims that the group does not have a member in Congress who represents their beliefs. “We were outraged to find that Tom Perriello had voted in favor of this bill. I was with dozens of 5th District voters in his office two days before the vote and we pleaded with him to stand with us against the Pelosi plan,” said Coleman. “At this point we feel we have no representation in Congress,” added Coleman.

The Danville TEA Party website is filled with extremism that includes attacks on Speaker Pelosi, as a “treasonous witch,” refers to Rep. Perriello as a “turn coat traitor” and President Obama as Hitler.

Many of the posts on the site are nonsensical rants. Member Patty Dumpling says on the site, “Obama is a Goebbels puppet and the czars are pulling the strings.” Ms. Dumpling also bizarrely accuses president Obama of cancelling the TV show Arrested Development. “One of the most heinous acts ever perpetrated on American soil was done at the behest of PRESIDENT HITLER HIMSELF. I know because my neighbor is related to Jason Bateman,” wrote Dumpling.

The Danville TEA Party supports the “tenther” movement, which falsely believes that health care reform is unconstitutional. A post on the site by member Elmer Woodard entitled, “The crux of it is treason” seems to espouse the group’s beliefs that President Obama has plans to take away their freedom with health care reform. Woodard seems particularly worried that Obama may deprive him of his rights to spend money on anti-Obama signs, Cold Stone Creamery ice cream, and ammunition for his guns
