From 750 Tea Parties in April 2009, to 1505 on July 4, 2009, the Tea Party Movement appears to be picking up momentum. Even with faced with contrived attempts by Government officials to prevent the gatherings, the TEA Party often persevered. The ACLU has even got involved in demanding city, county and state officials not infringe on the TEA Party Movement’s 1st Amendment rights.
